    Airfence Bike Heavy Duty
    FIM classification –Type A

Airfence Bike modules have always had a particularly strong 900gsm nylon reinforced PVC front fabric. However, now you can order your Airfence Bike safety system with an even stronger 2mm thick reinforced PVC conveyor belt fabric. This is ideal where the barriers are likely to receive repeated or high velocity impacts from bikes because the likelihood of penetration, even by the sharp, broken components of a damaged race bike, is very low. The extra reliability of the barriers afforded by this fabric means less interruption to programs and television coverage of the event.
The dimensions and impact absorbing qualities and other features of Airfence Bike - Heavy Duty remain the same as the traditional Airfence Bike Safety System.
It is already in use at Pacific Raceway, WA. USA and at the Isle of Man TT.

    Airfence Bike B
    FIM classification – Type B
The technology and materials of Airfence Bike have been applied to design and produce a new, thinner, stiffer barrier especially for situations where there is not enough room for a full Type A barrier and/or where the angle of projected impact is low. These situations often occur where riders are riding close to a wall needing higher protection. So the dimensions of Airfence Bike B are 3x1.2x0.6m (10x4x2ft-LHW).
It is constructed using a multi-celled structure where air is transferred on impact to minimize rebound, peak and average deceleration. Overall it is a stiffer barrier than Airfence Bike and is available with the Heavy Duty conveyor belting front. Only approved this year, it is already in use at the Isle of Man.
