    Installation and handling

The installation and handling of Airfence Speedwayis easy! It is similar to our Airfence IIS system, being inflated with a backpack blower, lifted into place and clipped together. Typically 4 people can install an Airfence Speedway system in around half a day. Before the race meeting starts, the Airfence should be topped up with air.

When packed up, each barrier weights less than 40 kg and in volume only takes up 0.3-0.4 of a cubic metre. So it is easy to store or to transport from one track to another. If it does happen that an Airfence Speedway module is damaged, then because it is made from the same heavy duty PVC fabric as other Airfence products, it can be easily be repaired in the same way with appropriate adhesive and a patch. Given simple care the Airfence Speedway will give you many years of the best barrier protection available

    How much Airfence Speedway?
Because the barriers are in 3 metre lengths any number can be used to cover the critically dangerous parts of the track. However just where the protection should start and end is best decided by the circuit owners, promoters and clerks of course. But typically at a Speedway venue, a hundred metres at each end or a set of 70 barriers in total is sufficient.

Will your next event see this level of safety in place?
