Many tracks can install and leave their Airfence Speedway Safety System in place for the season. Each section is lifted into place, secured together by our seat belt webbing and Stainless D rings, tied off to the wall by the strap on the top and that’s it.
Not a problem. 2 men can handle your Airfence as each section only weighs 40kg. Undo the 4 fastenings, use the handles to lift them and you’ll have each section on your trailer in a minute or two. You can store them in or outside. No deflation and your safety system lying around in the dirt to possibly be damaged! This allows better presentation for other stadium users and a better presented track for you when the Airfence returns.
Airfence Speedway has internal foam frames and is not inflated. So there is no maintenance during an event, nothing to remember, nothing to do. You can concentrate on what you need to do – running an interruption free and action packed program.
If there’s an impact into the Airfence? These barriers are strong and much less likely to be damaged than inflated systems. So there’s much less likelihood of interruptions to your program. Nothing annoys a crowd or TV like a lengthy delay!
But bikes can tear even the strongest fabric sometimes, so we recommend that you have a spare section or two. If this section is ready at the pit gate or similar place two men will have a damaged section out, the new one in and ready to go in less then 5 minutes, about the same time as it takes to get a race re-started after an accident. So no time lost! And no annoying noisy blowers running in the background.
