Airfence Bike Safety System debut's at Oz GP
Australian GP promoters Australian Grand Prix Corporation and Phillip
Island Operations chose Airfence Bike as the preferred safety system
to invest in for their MotoGP event held Oct 16-17, 2004. The Airfence
Bike barriers were not tested by anybody crashing into them, but Phillip
Island Grand Prix Circuit Management were happy with the quality product
and presentation. 120 metres, or 60 sections, were installed on the
fast left hander, turn 3, to compliment the new gravel trap there, part
of Phillip Island Grand Prix Circuit's much publicized major safety
upgrade for this year's event.
